What would everybody think of a line of pet jewelry? Thoughts? Ideas?
What a fantastic day! I spent all Saturday running around dressed as Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony at Gencon in Indianapolis, Indiana with thousands of my fellow nerds! Everything was fabulous. So many complimented my outfit, and I ran into many of my fellow MLP fans. I cannot tell you how many people hugged me, and so many little girls pointed at me with huge grins on their faces. Several people commented that mine was the best and most creative Rainbow Dash they had seen. I was so flattered.
Out of necessity, I threw together this ensemble in less than 48 hours, including an all nighter Friday night through Saturday morning. I was stunned when I actually put on the last minute touches and realized that I was a recognizable Rainbow Dash!
Hopefully I will have adequate time to prepare for my next convention. I plan on attending Anime Crossroads in December, and I may use an even more tricked out Rainbow Dash costume for that. I happen to love rainbows… and coincidentally My Little Pony.

True Nephrite Jade and Natural Hematite Necklace and Earrings
In this composition, you will find a fantastic deep green TRUE nephrite jade drop nestled between two NATURAL hematite beads, all of which are dangling from eighteen inches of Nylon coated stainless steel (your choice of colors: light tan, reddish brown, or brown).
True Jade is hard to come by these days. Beginning in China when it was thought to be the hardest stone around 5000 B.C., and continuing until this day where it is considered to be lucky, Jade has long been coveted in Asia. This calming stone is further enhanced by the encouragement of the natural hematite. Wear this as an amulet to bring luck to yourself.
Faceted Iolite, Red Spinel, and Crystal Quartz are beautifully accented with Sterling Silver in this rare gemstone piece. There are truly no words to appropriately describe this absolutely stunning piece! After staring at these tiny 1 and 2 mm gemstones for countless hours of relentlessly weaving this delicate pattern, I am very pleased to show you the finished fruit of my labor!
Varying patterns of the beautiful gemstones are woven along this entire lace-inspired necklace. Eight stunning faceted crystal quartz drops are introduced periodically throughout the piece leading up to the focal point. Centered within a gemstone enclosure, a stunning quartz piece highlights a beautiful carved and etched lotus flower surrounded by Sterling Silver. This is a truly one-of-a-kind piece!
The center circumference of this lotus necklace is approximately 17 inches, and the outer circumference is approximately 21 inches. This varies with how the gemstone “lace” is positioned. To ensure durability, hidden within the beads is a very fine stainless steel cord. Visible metals are all sterling silver, including the lobster claw clasp.
Matching bracelet and earrings can be made upon request.
Turquoise Mosaic Mother of Pearl, Peach Seed and Knotted Leather Necklace
This fun 20 inch necklace was inspired by the Disney Cartoon Pocahontas. As a child, it was one of my favorites, and as an adult, upon seeing these beads, I instantly thought of the natural inspiration from that movies. Although this is not a talking tree, it definitely has the ability to bring forth a natural feel to any outfit.
Petrified Wood, Shark Tooth, and Ammonite on Leather
This fantastically simple necklace can bring the natural side out of anybody! I personally LOVE ammonites, which are fossilized marine invertebrates. Knowing that I am wearing a small piece of Earth’s history absolutely boggles my mind. To think that these little creatures existed as early as the Devonian period is just thrilling!
Bone Buddha on Leather, Hematite, Moss Agate, Carnelian and Burma Jade Necklace
Burma Jade is one of the few TRUE varieties of jade. Combined with natural hematite and the presence of Buddha, this piece brings comfort to those who wear it.
Mixed Stone Japa Mala (Prayer Beads)
This traditional Hindu/Buddhist piece incorporates 108 various stones. As you repeat a mantra for every bead, the metaphysical properties quietly vibrate within your very core.
If healing stones aren’t your thing, this also makes an awesome bracelet!
Garnet and Freshwater Pearl Necklace and Bracelet Set
I found these absolutely fabulous garnets and simply had to make something for my older sister since garnet is her birthstone! What to put with it? Pearls of course! It seems like an odd combination, but I absolutely adore it. You would have thought I had just bought her the most stunning piece from a high end retailer when I handed this to my sis!
Aquamarine and Crystal Necklace and Bracelet Set
Running or Anything Artistic!
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and feel
What I can ne’er express, yet cannot all conceal.
